Yesterday was quite a day. I spent the entire morning trying to figure out how to allocate funds in an IRA…. yeaaaaaahh… and then the bulk of the afternoon was spent paying bills and updating spread sheets.
Would you believe me if I told you I survived the whole thing? Because I did. And I even managed to eat some pretty decent meals along the way. But don’t take my word for it, that’s what pictures are for.
What I Ate Wednesday
8:30am – My day started with bulletproof coffee and a side of cat.
Around noon, I gave my poor money brain a break and put together a protein and fat-packed lunch of champions. To a couple handfuls of arugula I added tuna salad, avocado, chopped beets and pickles, and then mixed it all up.
It was around this time that I realized that the Capital One Sharebuilder window playing some really enjoyable jazz on repeat had been open all morning. (Note how I said I realized it had been open, not that I did anything about it.)
By 3:30pm, I was ready to bust out some of the super ripe stone fruit we picked up at this week’s farmers’ market. The yellow peaches and white nectarines could not wait another day to be eaten.
I managed to work the whole rest of the afternoon away without any major snack cravings… other than a few cherries here and there.
After work, Andrew and I convinced ourselves to go to the gym. We both did my “Cardio Trifecta” workout, which is what I do when I’m feeling too lazy to plan a strength routine. It consists of 10 minutes on a bike, 10 minutes on a stair master, and 10 minutes on a treadmill for a total of 30 cardio-filled minutes.
Around 8:45pm, we sat down for some shaved brussels sprouts w/ chicken sausage and goat cheese, along with the remaining Indian food leftovers from the weekend.
After dinner, we made tea to drink while watching TV. Tea Vee?
So that’s where I’m at. Feeling PRETTY adult right about now. I think I’ll go do some coloring.
Question: What’s your general opinion of the stock market?
